C.O.W Bus

Kendra attends preschool 2 days a week on the C.O.W Bus. (Classroom On Wheels)
It's a full sized school bus, painted to look like a cow & has been gutted & transformed into a mobile classroom. (bathroom & all)

She really seems to like her teacher Mrs Beannie.
So when our wards primary did a teacher appreciation dinner for all kinds of teachers in our community, Kendra was very excited to invite Mrs Beannie. The children were encouraged to invite any kind of teacher they wanted. IE: school teacher, music teacher, dance teacher, home teacher, swim teacher etc. So it was a great opportunity to share the gospel with non members & really made the children feel very special. All the families was invited & the kids served the teachers. Dinner was great & so was the enormous dessert table. The primary president spoke briefly (but perfectly in my opinion) about how as members of the church we truely value the education of our children & that we know we will be held accountable for this, among other things, & thanked the teachers for their roll in our children's lives. She read a bit from the family proclamation that just really fit the occasion!
Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, and to teach them to love and serve one another, observe the commandments of God, and be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.
Kendra loves Mrs Beanie & the COW Bus & has been offered to attend their summer program and/or a 4 day a week program in the fall. I love to watch Kendra's brain grow! It's so facinating!
