Provo River Half Marathon

I'm Done! I am now retired. I will never run another step again in my life. (at least for now since I really can't take a step without wanting to cry.) After 3 months of running 4 days a week, I ran my first half marathon. I want to say last also, but it was actually a little fun.
As you can see, I loved every minute of it. This was the finish and I was glad to finally be there.
I am still at the finish because I didn't want to go anywhere.
This is my little brother Kevin and Travis. Kevin wasn't even sure if he was going to run or not, and he did. He kicked our butts! He ran under 7 minute miles the whole way. Not bad for not training for the last few weeks and going to therapy.
Tim also ran a good race. I can't believe he is smiling here, maybe he is very happy to be done.
My little sister also raced. She has 5 kids with the last 2 being twins that are 8 months old. The sad part is that she beat me by about 20 yards.
My other little sister has 4 kids and was right behind me. I guess with my belly I was feeling like I had kids in the past also.
Here is everyone that rant he race. From left to right. Julie (my little sister), Tim (my brother-in-law), Me, Kevin (my little brother), and Lisa (my little sister). Thanks everyone for helping me get this done. I actually had a good time and might want to do one again in the future.

Okay, I'll admit I'm impressed that my siblings are doing 1/2 marathons...my only claim to fame is that I'm running a team marathon in a few weeks...I think my leg of the race is about 3 miles long. So I went running 2 days in a row last week to prepare....I was sore for about 5 days after that!
