Running Shoes & Bike Helmets

A shopping day for the boys! Of course Scheels is just the place for that!!
Mark needed some good running shoes & socks for his training for the upcoming 1/2 marathon he will be running in August (stay tuned for another post on that) We had lunch (elk sandwiches) & delicious fudge. Mmmm!
Kendra & Papa rode the Ferris wheel this time.
Dad gave us a bit of trivia: The man that the Ferris wheel is named after is from Nevada, Geno to be exact. Being a native Nevadian you would think I would have learned that some time in the last 30 years.
Kendra enjoyed the animals and wanted to know if the moose could step over the wall. Grandma Sandy explained taxidermy on a 4 year old level.
Papa had a conversation with President Roosevelt. Travis & Trevor got bike helmets. Now I'll feel safer on bike rides. How did our generation survive with out bike helmets?
