Easter is always a fun time for the kids. It also turns into a long day living so close to family. We love being close to Grandparents, but it ends up giving us 3 holidays all in 1 day. That can be good, and it can also be very tiring, especially when you are talking about candy.
We are starting to really enjoy the boys being the same age. Sure, they have their moments, but they are also becoming friends which we have been hoping for for a long time. They wanted to help each other get their egg out, but each didn't want the other to do it. The funny thing about coloring eggs was when Travis took his egg and tried to crack it like mom does when she is baking. Not 30 seconds later, Trevor was doing the same thing.
Kendra was having fun coloring eggs also. I think she was the only one that didn't break an egg.
Each of the kids have thier name on their own egg that they had to find. Can you tell by the color of thier noses that the easter bunny hid them outside? Cold!
