We went down to Mom and Dads to help pick some of their apples. The tree in the front yard was loaded! We picked for about 2 hours and left plenty for the Logans to pick the next day! They kids helped by picking the ones up off the gound that had fallen. Travis and Trevor would put 1 or 2 in their shirt and then carry it to the bag or box and dump them in. It was fun. Cant wait for applesauce, apple pie, apple crisp, apple butter, yum yum yum!
Mark up in the tree.
After apple picking we decided to take the kids over to the Corley Ranch, for some local "fall fun".
There was a big corn maze. Mark and I were ready to just follow the kids' lead, I was curious to see who would actually do the leading. We both laughed out loud (and were bummed we missed the picture) when we came to the very first cross road and Travis pointed to the left and Trevor pointed to the right! So ture to who they are! Kendra mostly took the lead and we made it to the other side, then Daddy helped a little and we made it back out.
There was a hay bail maze, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, pony rides, a bouncy house and plenty of photo opps. A real fun spontaneous afternoon!
